Live Mail first by
selecting file import->message->Microsoft Outlook-Express
6 and locate it to proper DBX folder and
then Import this file into Thunderbird.
MBOX is a Thunderbird file format and used for holding collections of email messages. All messages in MBOX are concatenated and stored as a plain text in a single file.
